Typefaces we draw ourselves. For now there is one: Auklenis Display, a typeface from sketches to billboard.

About the typeface
Auklenis Display is drawn with a string: every letter is a print of a paint-soaked string, taken from sketches all the way to a billboard.
Bold is a flaw that became a victory. While making the Regular, the string wore out over time, soaked up paint and left letters full of artifacts — random lines, smudges and other imperfections. Noticing this, I made a variation of the typeface from those first unsuccessful letters, editing them as little as possible to keep what makes each one distinct.
